Tasty low-carb snacks

I think every single diet needs snacks. Diet doesn’t have to mean “trying to lose weight”, it just means “one’s way of eating”. However, low-carb dieters need snacks too. I’ve been on various diets and have thought of some good lowcarb snacks throughout the years. Here are some.

Lime chicken wings. You marinate chicken wings in lime, pepper and salt. Bake and eat. They’re so good!

Beef jerky. Get a hydrater and after marinating the meat in a lowcarb sauce or just sprinkling with salt and pepper, dry and eat after. It’s better than chips!

Melon and berries. Yes, even lowcarb dieters can have fruit. You just have to choose the ones with the least sugar. These two combination of fruits are perfect for that and can be sprinkled with Splenda.

Cheese crisps. I once saw this on a lowcarb recipe show on the Food Network, late at night. You take various cheeses, shred, then compile in a chiplike fashion on a cookie tray. Bake and when crispy, eat!
